Photographer Ben wood has managed to distill the excitement of being trackside in this set of pictures. You can almost smell the fumes from the classic cars as they speed across the track, swerve through corners and position on the grid. Also great is the look of steely determination on the drivers' faces as they peer from beneath vintage helmets and goggles. The shape and grace of the vehicles themselves are the real winners though, captured spectacularly by a master behind the lens.
