The traditional technique of flower pressing is presented in a modern fashion with these colourful specimens by Ben Wood. The Jumbo scale of these photograph makes the ordinarily small flowers larger than life. The image is illuminated from underneath to bring out all of the fine detail. The light beams through the handmade paper in the background and adds a wonderful textured grid-like pattern. The wonderful bright blue flowers are naturally symmetrical in shape and are the perfect curved compliment to the structured grey surround.
