It's hard not to believe that this shot wasn't taken in a high-end photography studio. You could even be forgiven for thinking the subject was a willing model, as the bear looks so calm and thoughtfully posed. With paws carefully placed atop the texture of a huge log, he looks like he's more than happy to be captured, and that soft, dense fur makes for a stunning contrast against the grainy bark beneath.
