2014 Mercedes SLS Gullwing is a two-seat luxury grand tourer automobile developed by Mercedes-AMG. The car, which has gull-wing doors is the successor to the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren and is described by Mercedes-Benz as a spiritual successor to the Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing. The SLS in its name stands for "Sport Light Super" The car has gained popularity following publicity and exposure in the film and media industries. It has featured in the movie Transformers: Dark of the Moon and on the British television show, Top Gear.
