Artist: Meridith Martens
Meridith Martens has been working in oils to create a new series of Orchids. This is a new medium for us as previously we have worked largely with prints and watercolours. The texture that oil paint offers comes through in this series of images, the raw edges of her work have been included adding to the 'feel' of the piece. The collections are presented in a shadow box giving depth to the image within. They are signed by the artist.
