Artist: Ben Wood
This specific product (BWGMT): The Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain, was one of the most unusual buildings Ben Wood had ever photographed. He spent four days photographing the exteriors and enjoyed it so much that he ran out of time and never went inside. There are four more Guggenheim museums which are located in New York, Venice, Abu Dhabi, and Berlin. The building has no flat surfaces and is made of glass, titanium, and limestone. One of the most admired works of contemporary architecture, the building has been hailed as a "signal moment in the architectural culture", because it represents "one of those rare moments when critics, academics, and the general public were all completely united about something", according to architectural critic Paul Goldberger. Works of many genres are displayed including Minimalism, Pop Art, Conceptual Art and Abstract Expressionism. Spanish contemporary and Basque art are also displayed from some of the local and regional artists.
